Our Story
Econform was founded on the 5th of April 2018 by Stewart MacDonald, a seasoned SEMA racking inspector who understood the pain points during inspections and the challenges faced by clients when trying to get quotes for repairs or replacement components. His vision was to streamline the process and make it more efficient for both inspectors and clients.
As fate would have it, Gary Coleman was independently exploring similar ideas from the customer’s perspective. Gary recognised that the process was often delayed due to interpretations from inspectors, suppliers, and installers, resulting in longer wait times for repairs and even failed works due to inaccurate information. He believed that an app could make life easier for suppliers, leading to greater customer satisfaction by getting their equipment back in operation as soon as possible and ensuring a safer working environment.
In October 2020, Thomas Pearson joined Econform as a Director, bringing his expertise and passion to the team. The following year, in March 2022, Nene Tech Group saw the potential in Econform and acquired the majority of shares in the company. Gary Coleman was subsequently appointed as a Director of Econform in November 2022.
Today, Econform has three directors and a dedicated team member, working together to revolutionise the racking inspection process. The initial meeting between Thomas, Gary, and Stewart, which took place in an airport in Glasgow, marked the beginning of a journey filled with innovation and collaboration.
